I’m a Midwest girl, born and raised in Detroit with 10+ formative years in Chicago, so every day the sun shines down on me in LA feels special. I love tv, film, podcasts, books. In fact, I’m writing a book about a fictional yoga cult. I adore my dog.

I started writing when I was 10, when my cousin and I created our own comic book. I was head of story and she was the art department.

In middle school at 13, I was the co-founder and managing editor of Pen Cap Chew, the most angsty, cool girl zine to ever grace the printers of a Kinko’s in suburban Detroit. 

Nowadays, I’m a Brand Narrative Director at Nike. I’ve led global brand creative campaigns, developed concepts, interviewed and penned scripts for celebrities and athletes, led audio narrative development for co-branded podcasts and guided workouts, written captions for almost every social site (past and present), managed copywriters, fearlessly (and respectfully) managed agency partners, and much more. 

I find the angles that others can’t. I build worlds. I find the why. I punch it up. I make it cheeky. I tighten. I like to make things that people connect with.

Most of my professional experience covers lifestyle, sport, culture, fitness and entertainment, but I’m a paranormal, scifi, fantasy, romantasy reader and writer girlie at heart.
